celebración de la ciudad natal

Continuing their long standing tradition of constantly throwing fans music, MMJ will celebrate Record Store Day on April 18th with the release of a new EP entitled “Celebración De La Ciudad Natal” as part of an effort help support independently owned and operated record stores.

Recorded at two separate gigs in MMJ’s hometown, Louisville, KY, the EP captures two very distinct musical experiences during the Jacket’s tour last year. The seven tracks are culled from an in-store
performance at local record shop, Ear-X-Tacy and a performance at the local
landmark, Waterfront Park – with MMJ challenging fans to identify which songs belong to which venue.

See what the band has to say about the EP here.

Check out this nearly 20 minute exclusive video put together for “Celebración” and get out there on April 18th!
