the mary onettes

The Mary Onettes are Swedes that make some of the most fantastic/early-’80s/guitar driven/lush pop a la Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jesus and Mary Chain etc. I’ve heard in quite some time. Their new album Islands comes out this Tuesday, Nov. 3 via Labrador and adds a bunch of strings and keyboard arrangements to the mix. Check out the video and two mp3’s below.
